NOW
is the Time!
Now
is the time for us to accept and bring forth
a new paradigm: to willingly and intentionally be self-realized
and self-actualized in higher levels of consciousness and daily
living. Our intuition confirms that at the soul level we are immortal
& predestined to and express on transcendental levels of awareness.
As
the door opens to a brand new year, a new millennium, be willing
to totally release the past & be a new person NOW. Let us
take a stand that we can experience our divine refinement in and
through a new model of relationship & partnership - one committed
to growth, development, unfoldment and evolution. Stand for empowering
one another, enhancing each other's creativity & potentiality; realize
we are 100% at source, the creators of our experience and reality.
Tell the truth & keep our agreements; make conscious, critical choices
for intimacy, reveal instead of conceal. We can choose to move from
dependence to independence to interdependence: to move from co-dependence
to co-commitment and co-creativity.
Set
your new goals NOW; write them down, ink them don't just
think them. Include long range & short term goals. Create short
powerful present tense affirmations for each area of your life.
Create a collage, an image book or poster board; visible things
and attributes that depict the quality of life you truly desire.
Barbara
Marx Hubbard suggests the following as qualities for checking
our alignment with the archetypal evolutionary: not self-sacrificing,
but self-actualizing; experience deep empathetic communion with
others; respect scientific inquiry & intuitive holistic awareness;
be a risk taker and commit beyond your known abilities; know you
are not working alone; self-disciplined; highly individualistic
but co-operate easily; have an expectation of newness; sense your
intuition of designing intelligence; be not comfortable with the
traditional male/female roles, unite WHOLE BEING to WHOLE BEING
to supra-sexual relationships.
Supra-sex
is when you feel within you a "vocational arousal" when your life's
purpose kicks up. You sense you have something more to do with your
life, you join together with others to co-create such that your
life's purpose gets expressed & manifested through joining in love
with others for the sake of the world
I
recently heard about a group of people who returned from India,
having met with the Dalai Lama for several days. The meetings
focused on a dialogue of what they believed were the 5 most important
questions to be considered moving into the new millennium. The group
was asked to come up with five questions before meeting with the
Dalai Lama. They asked: * How do we address the widening
gap between rich and poor? * How do we protect the earth? * How
do we educate our children? * How do we help Tibet & other oppressed
countries/people? * How do we bring spirituality - deep caring for
each other - through all disciplines?
The
Dalai Lama said all the questions fall under the last one.
If we have true compassion, our children will be educated, we will
care for the earth and for those who "have not".
He
asked the group: Do you think loving on the planet is increasing
or staying the same? His own response was, "My experience leads
me to believe that love IS increasing." He shared a practice with
the group that will increase loving & compassion in the world, and
asked everyone attending to go home and share it with as many people
as possible.
The
Practice: 1. Spend five minutes at the beginning of each
day remembering we all want the same thing (to be happy & loved)
and we are all connected. 2. Spend five minutes cherishing
yourself & others. Let go of judgments. Breathe in cherishing yourself,
and breathe out cherishing others. If the faces of the people you
are having difficulty with appear, cherish them as well. 3.
During the day extend that attitude to everyone you meet: we are
all the same, & I cherish myself and you (do it with the grocery
store clerk, the client, your family, co-workers, etc.). 4.
Stay in the practice, no matter what happens.
NOW
IS THE TIME - come grow with us at the Centre for Self Awareness.
Let others know why you come, what you experience at our Sunday
Celebration. Thank-you for BEING and being in my life.
Namaste,
